Electric Scooter Battery Charger Replacement

Electric scooters and bikes have many different chargers and charging applications. To best determine the charger that your scooter requires simply check the charger for the Watts, Volts, and Amp Hours. (W, V, Ah). Most scooters have multiple batteries wired together to make one big battery. Your batteries will have the voltage and other output listed, in most cases. If they do not there are some alternate ways to find out your scooter’s output.

Checking Your Charge System And Adding Up Your Batteries

Your scooter will have multiple batteries that are wired together to make one. The output of the complete battery capabilities will be the number of volts of each battery added up. For example, Three 12v batteries would make 3x12v=36v system. The batteries all work together to make the 36 volts. There are also “Amp-Hours” , and watts too, but the volts is the most important number. If you have 4x12v batteries, your system is 48v. The charger will be specified for your system. 12v, 24v, 36v, or 48v.

Gas Prices Rising? Don't be effected. Beat The Hike In Price!

Ah yes, the classic $4.50+ per gallon at the pump is back, and most people will just complain as they fill up their car with expensive gas. Yeah, it sucks, but it effects everyone, so don't let high prices at the pump get you. There are many ways to reduce your automotive uses, while having fun, helping the environment, your health, and traffic congestion. Bicycles, Scooters, and e-bikes are the most efficient ways to reduce your car use.

Bicycles have been around longer than the car, but it seems that the car surpassed the bicycle many years ago. What makes cars so desireable? Cars are large enough to fit multiple people, and cars propel us across the earth with little effort. Cars are faster than bicycles, and require less effort to use. Cars run on a liquid called gasoline, and this gasoline fuels the internal combustion engines to creat propulsion.

X-treme X-300 Electric Scooter Product Review PDF Print E-mail

The X-treme X-300 squeezed it’s way between two of X-treme’s most popular electric scooter models, and it turns out to be a great balance between larger and smaller scooters. X-treme is the top quality Chinese scooter manufacturer with many popular models, and the X300 electric scooter is the newest vehicle to be churned out by Xtreme. The X-250 was fun to ride for a small child, but not enough for a larger child; whereas the X-360 is a bit too tall for kids to ride, so the X-300 comes in and clears that large gap up.
With the X-Treme X-300 electric scooter, simplicity of design is the first thing you see. The design is basic and easy to understand. There is a nice foot deck space that can accommodate different riding positions for different riding types. The seat is a spring loaded, fully height adjustable, and optional unit, so you can choose to use it or you can run the X300 with the seat off for a standup riding position. The lightweight and basic design makes for an agile ride with more acceleration and speed since it is not as heavy as the more heavily optioned scooters. With models like the X-250 one notch below it and the X-360 one step above the X-300, this medium sized kids scooter is the perfect balance of power and performance with lightweight operation in mind and fold-ability riders can store the scooter almost anywhere when they are not using it.

Go-Ped I-Ped2 Electric Scooter Review PDF Print E-mail

The Go-Ped I-Ped2 is the latest release from Patmont Motor Works and is the lightest and most powerful portable electric scooter available today. The I-Ped2 is still as small as the original iPed, but the new pneumatic tires and Mad Dog disk brakes give the iPed2 much greater stopping and handling properties. Go-Ped utilized all types of lithium batteries with the I-Ped2 letting the consumer choose between, SLA, LiPo, and LiFe batteries. The I-Ped2 is ideal for those who are commuting a few short trips throughout the day. Iped was originally the most portable electric scooter for adult sized riders available and it still is today even with the inclusion of disk brakes, and pneumatic tires. You can store the Iped2 under most subway, bus, or desk seats easily and you can get some with a small battery tender cable that makes charging on the go easy.
The I-Ped2 from Go-Ped has a 1000+ watt electro–head finned heat sync motor, which absorbs the heat at the motor and dissipates it. With safety features to prevent battery damage and motor damage the 24v DC brush motor is mated to a pulse width modulated advanced computerized variable speed and programmable controller. The controller does all of the work including; maximum speed protection, peak amperage protection, stall protection, motor overheat protection, and low voltage battery protection. Lithium Phosphate, Lithium Polymer, and Sealed Lead Acid batteries are all different so you can get the right one for you. SLA is the heavier, but old-reliable and efficient to replace batteries. The Lithium Phosphate takes longer to charge, but will last for 3-4 times as long as SLA batteries and provide the best value. Lithium Polymer batteries are the available in two different capacities, 8 Amp Hour, and 16 Amp Hour, as well as the ability to take along the portable power cable for longer life and extended ranges on the go.
