The X-Treme XP-707 Electric Pocket Bike is the fastest electric pocket bike available anywhere. Most pocket bikes are gasoline powered and loud, but the X-treme XP-707 Electric Pocket Bike is silent, and runs on 3, 12 amp batteries for a total of 36 volts. The XP-707 has a 700 watt electric motor that produces almost 1 horsepower. I received the XP-707 Electric Pocket Bike and was expecting a little toy bike with a small electric motor, however, I was pleasantly surprised when I assembled the front wheel and noticed that the bike is not a toy at all, but a scaled down electric version of a Super Bike racing Motorcycle. The tires are racing slicks, on a set of aluminum racing rims, and the disk brakes are top grade perfomance parts. The body "fairing" is full racing fairing just like on full scale race bikes. The XP-707 is very quiet, but powerful, making it the fastest electric pocket bike available. The disk brakes stop the XP-707 amazingly well from top speed. This electric pocket bike is not a good "toy" for your child, as it is very powerful for its size and can carry an adult with no issues at all. I would recommend the XP-707 to younger riders with experience, and not to inexperienced two wheel riders. As I rode the XP-707 around my neighborhood, I got laughs, compliments, and stunned looks because a 6' tall, 180 lb. man was riding this small electric pocket bike around. I only rode the XP-707 around the neighborhood, because it is not the best for commuting, or long distance rides. The X-treme XP-707 electric pocket bike is meant for racing around on a short course or track, and can be loads of fun with two or three of them to race. The accelleration and braking power makes the XP-707 one of the most fun electric vehicles I have ever ridden. My nephew was frightened by the XP-707's accelleration, compared to the other small electric scooters and bikes that he has tried for me. He got comfortable on the XP-707 within a few hours, and he was racing into and out of turns. I would worry about the XP-707 on the street due to it's low center of gravity. The height of a full grown rider on the XP-707 is very low, and would be hard for cars to see. PROS: -Fastest electric pocket bike available -700 watt motor (almost 1 horsepower) -Tubeless racing slicks -Quiet when operating -Electric powered so it runs on pennies per day -Disk brakes -Very fast (up to 20mph) -Good for small and large people -Inexpensive -Lightweight (65 lbs.) -Aluminum alloy rims -Comes with a tool kit CONS: -Low height makes the XP-707 hard to see when riding -Accellerates VERY quickly, not good for inexperienced riders -Brakes are VERY good, making the stopping capabilities dangerous -No lights, horns, or "bells n' whistles", just a racing electric pocket bike If you are interested in picking up an X-treme XP-707 Electric Pocket Bike, check out this Online Electric Scooter, Bike, and Pocket Bike Store for pricing, specifications, and shipping. |
