![]() The X-Treme XB-600 Electric Bike gets the job done and leaves you with enough money to buy some accessories too. I received the X-Treme XB-600 and was impressed with the packaging right away. I assembled the electric bike in no time and was ready to ride it as soon as the batteries charged. Once I rode this bike around the block, I knew that this bike was going to be one of the more comfortable electric bikes that I have ever ridden. The XB-600 is an Electric Bike and not a scooter, so you can ride the XB-600 wherever bicycles are allowed, and you follow the same traffic rules as regular bicycles. I like the storage on the XB-600, as it was sufficient enough to fit a good amount of groceries, or sizeable items. The XB-600's lights and turn signals are very functional and make riding on the street feel a little bit safer, knowing that the cars around you can see you. The power is not exactly "mind boggling", but I had no issues with the accelleration that the XB-600 produced. Overall, this scooter is very functional, affordable, and easy to operate. The price is not that bad either. If you ride a scooter like this to work for a month, it will pay itself off quite quickly in gasoline savings. I took the XB-600 to work for one week and saved over $50 in high priced gasoline, and I had a smile on my face the whole time I was passing traffic on the way to work too. Pros -Head and tail light standard -Front and rear turn signals standard -Under seat storage -Rear trunk for added storage -Good range -Pedaling increases range greatly -Electric Bikes are considered Bicycles by law enforcement -Easy to use controls -Good braking abilities -Smooth accelleration helps safety -Good quality Chinese scooter for the price Cons -Plastic body is a little fragile -A little too heavy to lift comfortably -One fuse popped when I was riding. Replaced it and it worked fine -Battery indicator drops quickly when running low on power |
