The X-treme XB-502 Electric Bike is back from it's recent facelift, and the new body style is really modern and unique. The XB-502 replaced it's predecessor the XB-500 Electric Bike, only this time they added a pedal system that classifies the XB-502 as an Electric Bicycle, so the XB-502 Electric Bike can be ridden anywhere that a regular bicycle can ride, legally, of course. The XB-502 is the best electric bike within the smaller E-bike category. The XB-502 only weighs in at 176 lbs, which is reasonabally light compared to most other Electric Bikes in this power/feature range. This affordable entry level Electric Bike is loaded with too many standard features, the stock X-treme XB-502 Electric Bike includes three storage bins!! There is a trunk box on the back, more storage under the comfy padded seat, and there is even additional storage under the keyed ignition/dashboard, so there is plenty of room for cellphones, papers, books, drinks, or whatever small items you may want to keep safe. The XB-502 is an Electric Bike, so in order to be legal the rider has to keep the bike at 20 mph, or under. The XB-502 is capable of the legal maximum speed of 20 mph. You are as safe as can be on the X-treme XB-502 Electric Bike, because the standard turn signals, and headlights are equipped on the front and rear of the bike. These lights are as visible as a motorcycle's or even small car's lights. I recommend the X-treme XB-502 Electric Bike for anyone ages 12 and up, and you do not need a license, registration, title, or insurance for Electric Bikes in the United States. Pros: -Light weight Electric Bike -Three storage bins -20 mph top speed -Comfy seat -Optional pedals -Front and rear turn signals -Front and rear running lights -500 watt rear hub motor -No chains, or belts -Dual side mirrors -Street Legal -Smart charger and toolkit included -16" aluminum wheels Cons: -Pedals are a tad hard to use -Some of the body work is fragile -Not for children under 12 If you are interested in purchasing an XB-502, check out this Online Electric Scooter and Bicycle Store for the X-treme XB-502, and many other X-treme Scooter's products. |
