The X-treme X-10 mini electric scooter is a high quality, yet very affordable entry level scooter. This X-10 mini that I received to review is a little 16 lb. electric scooter that is capable of 10 miles per hour, and will carry a lightweight rider up to 5 miles distance. The X-10 mini’s 100 watt motor was enough to carry me 7 mph, and I weigh 175 lbs., which, pushes the maximum capacity, so I took it over to my nephew to get his opinion. I arrived to a very excited 12 year old boy, anxiously awaiting his uncle and the X-10 mini. I had already charged the scooter and he immediately hopped on it and took off to the end of the cul-de-sac at the end of his street. He came back and passed by me going at least 10 miles per hour, with the biggest smile I have ever seen on the kid. I watched him ride the X-10 mini for over 10 minutes straight and started to get a little jealous that the scooter was not my size. I went into my sister’s house after that and started chatting with her while he played with the scooter outside. Fifteen minutes later, after forgetting he was out there, he came back in and said that the batteries were running down, so I put the X-10 mini back on the charger. My nephew was so anxious to get back on the scooter that he sat in front of it and watched it charge. I left the scooter with him so he could continue to help me with my review, and that was the last I ever saw of it. My sister demanded I give it to him, and she bought another one for my niece too. The neighbors all saw the fun that they were having and they ALL bought them too, so I have come to the conclusion that the X-treme X-10 mini electric scooter is beyond fun and very affordable too. The quality of this scooter is quite good too. I inspected it from a mechanical standpoint and the X-10 mini is a very well made electric scooter, with a belt drive, 100 watt/24 volt motor, and two 12 volt SLA batteries. Great bargain, and an even better introduction into the electric scooter world.
