QUESTION & ANSWER

Question: is a liscence and or registration required for electric scooters?

 

Answer: Individual States, Counties, and Cities have different laws, but the general law is that riders must be 16 or older to operate a motorized scooter. Some areas prohibit Gasoline powered scooters. Electric Bikes, however, are considered Bicycles and can be ridden anywhere a bicycle can. Scooter Laws
