QUESTION & ANSWER

Question: Is there a reset button on the schwinn S-500 ?

Answer: There are no reset buttons on electric scooters, as there are only a few components that will cause your scooter to not run. First thing you need to check is the Battery output. You will need a volt-meter to check your batteries combined output. Second thing you would check would be the Controller (brain) to see if it is functioning properly. There are fuses that can blow, causing the scooter to do nothing. You can check the throttle assembly for defects and the motor itself too. Batteries, Controller, fuses, throttle and Motor are going to be the leading suspect components for troubleshooting your scooters issues efficiently. If you need help or parts, try out this Electric Scooter Parts Store Online. They have all the parts you could want and also a "find a repair shop" feature that will allow you to locate an electric scooter repair shop in your zip code.

0 #1 Penny 2010-09-06 18:18 The wires on our 07 Schwinn S500cd keep coming out of the charger port. We hook the wires back into the port but when we put the port back into the tube the wires pop back out. We also can't figure out how to keep the port into the tube. When we drive the scooter it comes out and just hangs there. Any suggestions would be grateful. Thanks! Quote
