Question: My question regarding Izip Scooters is....Are the I-Zip Scooters generally a step better than the Schwinns. I want to buy my 125lb 11 year old a good quality electric scooter (without going broke). Can you suggest one?

The Schwinn and I-Zip scooters are made by the same parent company, Currie Technologies, and difference in cost and quality would be nominal. X-treme scooters are a high quality and affordable product with many lower wattage models that would be manageable for a child. You can check them out here. These are a better quality scooter for the price, but there is a pretty large gap between them and high quality scooters, such as the Go-Ped.
